October Wye weekend Friday to Sunday 29/30+31
  • An introduction to moving water based on the River Wye (Glasbury/Hay area)
  • Focussing on paddling techniques in easy grade rapids and moving water.
  • Experience the Autumn beauty of a canoe trip on this unspoilt major river.
  • Camping or B+B accommodation.
  • As usual all equipment for canoeing is provided along with tuition and guiding
  • Flexible arrangements; join us for 1, 2 or 3 days paddling or combine with walking, sight-seeing, bookshops etc!
  • Suitablity; All but especially those paddlers with some previous experience. 
  • Cost for 2 days' paddling and tuition £80 (N.B. does not include transport, accommodation, meals!)

·        You will be using first class canoes, paddles, buoyancy aids and waterproof storage.

·        As much expert support and advice as you can handle from enthusiastic, helpful and perceptive, fully qualified Level lll British Canoe Union coaches.

·        Great tuition in all aspects of handling your craft and a coached progression through the key paddle strokes. This teaching can dramatically improve your speed, efficiency, control and stroke production. All the above for just £15 per person!

·        This incredible deal for a group of 6 works out at £15 per person for a three hour trip and you can still relax for 20 minutes in the Orchard Tea Rooms or a Grantchester pub.

·        For a group of six friends out for three hours it’s an unbelievable £5 per person per hour while you are guided in the use of some of the best open canoes and equipment ever made!
